Parents facing financial deprivation are not able to ensure interesting leisure time for their children so the only way for them is to get support in order their children could go to summer camps. Although many social support families are provided with preferential passes, not all of them are even able to pay a lower price. There are also families that are not included into the lists of social support families due to official rules, although child rights protection specialists admit this support is necessary. “Pagalbos paaugliams iniciatyva” invites you to support these families and give a chance to these children to experience adventures at summer camp along with teenagers from other social groups.
About the project. The organizers of the project anticipate that at the camp 60 teenagers will enjoy summer, including sixteen children from disadvantaged families supported by aukok.lt benefactors. They will be selected by regional departments of Child Rights Protection. Also, teenagers from foster homes will take part at the camp along with the children from families supported by municipalities, and children from financially stable families whose parents will pay for the camp. Communication among teenagers having different experience will encourage integration of different social groups and mutual understanding.
We kindly invite you to support this idea and provide all teenagers with an opportunity to spend a great time at summer camp. Donated financial support will be used to accommodate, transfer and cater 16 teenagers, as well as to cover ¼ of camp supervisors’ salary.
