PROJECT IDEA 💡
This project is dedicated to children from Ukraine living in Lithuania who were forced to leave their homes, friends, and familiar surroundings because of the war. We will invite them to creative workshops where they will have the opportunity to safely express their emotions, reduce stress and anxiety, and restore childlike curiosity and joy. Professional educator-artists will help children discover new forms of self-expression through art, play, and creativity, while strengthening their emotional resilience.
WHY THIS MATTERS 🤝
Children who have experienced war trauma and forced migration often feel unsafe and lonely. Creative activities provide a safe space to talk about their experiences, develop emotional expression, and feel accepted. Timely support helps rebuild a sense of safety and self-confidence in a new environment.
