Daily hanging out, visiting the sea, cafe, forest, meadow and happily tired - these are the "Happy Feet" dogs. We strive to create the most fun and comfortable conditions for our foster dogs, because we do not know how long any of them will stay with us. Therefore, we are convinced that the shelter should be a happy place for the animals left without a home.
No matter how incredible or painful it may sound, very often an animal must receive veterinary assistance as soon as it enters the shelter. Beloved animals rarely come to shelters. Most often, the animal who came to the shelter was not a family member of their owner. The owner did not see or did not want to see that his dog or cat was in pain. Most of the time, that dog or cat was only doing alarm duty or mouse hunter work, and nobody really cared if it was limping or in pain. For such animals, entering the shelter is salvation. Not only does he have a chance to change his destiny, but often he gets rid of years of pain. But such ailments are long-standing and it is impossible to cure them with medication alone. Expensive tests and surgeries are needed. Not to mention diseases, injuries, tick-borne infections and various other ilnesses that need to be treated without counting funds or waiting, because the health of the animal is always a priority.
