WE - Food for Ukraine Charity and Support Fund - we were one of the first to bring humanitarian food aid to the civilian population of Ukraine.
WE ARE VERY CLOSE to Ukraine and Ukrainians. Our people have been working here since 2007, so we can immediately see the catastrophic situation in the liberated areas: people without shelter, food, water and no medicine, even though the enemy soldiers are gone somewhere. People who are nailed to bed or in their apartment because they have a disability and because the elevators do not work because their homes have no electricity or, worse, are bombarded are even more fearful of starvation.
WITH YOUR HELP 81 tractors with food and other essential goods with a total value of more than € 1,900,000 have already been delivered and distributed by the end of this July. Since the beginning of the war, more than 298,000 food supply kits have reached the most vulnerable. One such kit provides food for the week. Humanitarian aid is transported wherever possible: both directly to the bomb shelters and socially supported single people at home and in hospitals. We coordinate information on needs with local authorities and the Ukrainian Red Cross. Purchasing food on favorable terms directly from European producers, warehousing, logistics and distribution is facilitated by the Lithuanian capital trade network Novus operating in Ukraine.
WE WILL HELP UKRAINE! We work under a four-party cooperation agreement with the Ukrainian Red Cross and partners, so the provision of support is recorded in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania and Ukraine. We have all the necessary competencies and infrastructure to ensure that the necessary support comes in the right places at minimal cost, so every euro you spend reaches its destination!
