The pride of being a Lithuanian
This year we are celebrating 100 years of restored Lithuania. Raise a flag in every home in order to show respect for our history, citizens, who built the foundation and fought for our country, express our belief in our and our childrens‘ future.
Raised flags not only will reflect us as a strong and united country, but allows us to feel the pride of being Lithuanian citizens.
To achieve this goal some of us need support. Not all families living in diffcicult condition can afford to have a national flag. Show our nationality in our hearts and give those families, who cherish love for our country, a flag of Lithuania.
Partners and friends of the initiative
Last February the Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis gave 50 families a flag of Lithuania and invited them to raise it on special national occasions.
This initiative will last till the end of 2018 and is implemented with The order of Malta, “All Saints Family Support Centre”, Vilnius Social Support Centre, The Association of Local Authorities, Kauno “Žalgiris“ basketball players, olympic vice-champions rowers Mindaugas Griškonis and Saulius Riteris.
