Since 2003 TV3 has been organizing the charitable project “Fulfillment Campaign“. With the money donated by people of good-will, children in foster homes and children living in destitution have been receiving medical care and the most necessary aid. The funds are used to buy medicine and medical equipment for children, to improve their living conditions and to provide additional rehabilitation.
About the project: “Fulfillment Campaign“ has grown into a beautiful Christmas-time tradition, when people of Lithuania share their kindness and help those who need their help most of all. “2009 Fulfillment Campaign“ invites you to support the little ones - who most of all miss warmth and love – children who have been abondoned by their parents; to support their healthcare, treatment and for minor patients with severe illnesses – medicine and rehabilitation. Since 2003, the number of participating foster homes has grown from 58 to 196 in the last year. More information about the results of previous years‘ campaigns is available at www.tv3.lt/issipildymoakcija.
“Fulfillment Campaign“ invites not only those who are able to assist financially, but also it seeks to draw attention to the moral support that society can provide. Every year, your support provides new opportunities for these children to have better future.
“2010 Fulfillment Campaign“ objectives:
• Help the children in foster homes to become healthier: check and repair teeth, check eyesight and buy glasses, provide rehabilitation (massages, gymnastics, swimming pool) for minor patients with severe illnesses. Upon need to buy rehabilitation means for foster homes raising ill and disabled children.
• Provide material and financial support to the individual cases presented by TV3 – to the children who are in an especially dire need, whose treatment requires special care and assistance.
100% of the funds collected via aukok.lt reached the final beneficiaries: ten-year-old Tautvydas (the necessary equipment for nursing him was purchased) and the family of Reda (a new house was purchased, as beforehand they lived on a farm).
