The Galileo Center is a trauma-sensitive (Trauma Informed Care) help and competence center that provides assistance to children and their families seeking to overcome the consequences of emotional trauma, organizations and specialists - to recognize, name and take measures to change the traumatic environment, society - to expand knowledge about emotional health as an integral part of general health.
The center's activities include children's camps, accredited children's day social care, individual and group psychotherapy (art therapy) for children and their families, trainings, seminars, discussions that introduce the public to the challenges posed by emotional trauma, the principles of trauma-sensitive activities and their implementation in organizations.
The whole activity of the organization is based on the notion that resilience is a superpower, so the center aims to increase people's social-emotional resilience through its daily activities.
