NSMOT is a non-governmental umbrella organization, that unites 52 non-governmental organizations, including the largest national organizations such as the Food Bank, Caritas, the Helpdesk of the Order of Malta. NSMOT members operate in 49 municipalities and work with the following social groups: families facing exclusion, people with disabilities, people with addictions, convicts and persons released from prisons, victims of trafficking, people with mental illness and other groups that may face poverty or social exclusion. NSMOT's main activities are advocacy in the field of social policy and strengthening of members.
