Mažeikiai autism association "Lietaus vaikii" unites families raising children diagnosed with autism (ASD) in Mažeikiai district. Activities of the association: • To provide knowledge and information to the family where a child with ASD was born/raised; • Promote the improvement and availability of social services in Mažeikiai district; • To enrich and develop the activities and environment of the ASS day center for children; • Educate the public, pedagogues and other specialists on issues in the field of ASS; • If there is a need to represent the interests of families in self-governing institutions; • Participate in creating psychological, educational, social well-being of children with ASD and their family members.
