Anykščių vaikų ir jaunimo užimtumo centras protects and promotes the social well-being and employment of children and youth from at-risk groups, large families, and socially supported families. It provides them with open, fair, and caring support to help them become equal members of society.
The organization aims to achieve these goals by:
- Advocating for and defending the rights of children and youth in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
- Educating and safeguarding socially supported children and youth in Anykščiai city, providing material and psychological assistance to their families.
- Assisting in addressing social, household, economic, employment, and informational issues concerning children and youth.
- Contributing to the prevention of harmful habits and juvenile delinquency.
